As a health benefit consultant, I’ve noticed that many Maxicare members ask about their coverage, benefits, and Letter of Authorization (LOA) approvals. Fortunately, Maxicare offers multiple customer support channels to assist members efficiently.
Ways to Contact Maxicare
Maxicare provides several ways for members to reach their customer support team:
Email Support – For non-urgent concerns or documentation requests, you can email customercare@maxicare.com.ph.
• Chat Support – Available on the Maxicare website via the chat icon for quick inquiries.
• 24/7 Hotline – Members can call anytime for real-time assistance.
Calling the Maxicare Hotline

When you call the Maxicare hotline, you’ll first hear a voice recording guiding you to the appropriate department. Similar to calling a bank, you’ll need to press specific numbers based on your concern.
Initial Steps When Calling
1. You’ll be informed about Maxicare’s Data Privacy Agreement. If you agree, stay on the line; if not, hang up.
2. You’ll be given several options:
• Press 1 – For Members
• Press 2 – For Hospital and Clinic Staff
• Press 3 – For Healthcare Products
• Press 4 – For Prepaid LOA Approval and Inquiries
If You’re a Maxicare Member (Press 1)
• You’ll be asked to enter your 16-digit card number, then press # to confirm.
• If you don’t have your card, press * to proceed.
• Next, choose the specific service you need (as I write this, options might change):
1. Animal Bite Concerns
2. Teleconsultation
3. Emergency LOA
4. Outpatient LOA
5. Dental LOA
6. Confinement
7. Benefit Inquiry & Other Services
For general service inquiries, press 7 and wait for an agent.
